Energy Fellow Sarah Burch had the opportunity to travel to Cordova this September. Burch traveled with members of the ACEP and Teaching Through Technology (T3) to learn about Cordova's microgrid, energy issues, and science education.
Cordova is an important location for microgrid innovation and research, and there is much to learn from this small fishing town. To read about Burch's time in Cordova learning about their energy needs and meeting with AMG board member and Cordova Electric Cooperative CEO Clay Koplin, head to the ACEP blog: https://uaf.edu/acep-blog/education-innovation-and-leadership-field-notes-from-cordova.php
